Coasting Together, the user group for all amputees and wheelchair users at the Sussex Rehabilitation Centre, invited Mike to visit the centre where Mike met some of the staff as well as members of the Coasting Together committee.

Mike was given a tour of the workshop area by members of Coasting Together, Ann Dyson (Rehab Centre Manager) and Andy Robb (Workshop Manager).

Mike got the chance to see various stages in the making of a prosthetic limb from socket manufacture right through to the cosmesis being fitted. He also had the opportunity to discuss current issues facing the disabled community.
