Mike is delighted that Touch of India on Boundary Road, Hove, has been Highly Commended in the Tiffin Cup 2012.
The Tiffin Cup is awarded every year by the Tiffin Club, which was formed in 2006 by a group of curry-loving Members of Parliament including Michael Fabricant and Keith Vaz. The aim of the competition is not only to applaud the quality of South Asian food in Britain, but also to raise money for charity. This year, the competition is being held in aid of the charity World Vision.
Touch of India will received a certificated and embroidered Tiffin Cup 2012 chef jacket to mark their achievement in this year’s competition.
Commenting, Mike said: “While they didn’t make it through to the Grand Final, this is still a great result for Touch of India. The standard of restaurants was extremely high this year so this award really is testament to the fantastic efforts of all the staff at Touch of India. I am already looking forward nominating my fourth entry next year.”
